WHO is Malala Yousafzai?
Malala is an iconic youth, she was the winner of the Nobel peace prize in 2014 and was one of the first in India woman to get a Pakistani education advocate.
At the age of 17, she became the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize after surviving an assassination attempt by the Taliban.
WHEN was she born?
Malala was born on the 12th of July 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan
WHERE was she born?

Born in the Mingora, Pakistan the Swat district of north-western Pakistan, where her father had built his school.

WHAT language, religion, cultural differences to Australia

Living there were excepted to get an arranged marriage from as young as 11years old this is a huge difference to Australia as girls don’t get married until there are considered to be the legally be of age
Young girls were not allowed to attend school and get an education they were excepted to stay home cook clean and do housework instead

Mention her parents
Her father had ambitions to build his school, so in 2008 her father Ziauddin Yousafzai built his school with just 15,000 rupees which are around 190 Australian dollars
He said that he was so happy that the school he started, with just three kids, had 1,100 students – 500 girls and 600 boys – by 2012.
How was her upbringing
Her upbringing was different to most girls living there as she was able to go to school from 12 years old her father sent her he also protested for women to have equal rights just like men do
