HTN/Kidneys - inefficient nephron function, swollen/burst capillaries. Can lead to kidney failure
DM2/Kidneys - extra glucose in filtrate, excess will end up in urine due to strain on PCT. Can eventually cause kidney failure
Osteoporosis/Kidneys - Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) can lead to abnormal Ca2+ levels in blood/filtrate, leading to mineral/bone disorders such as osteoporosis. Two are intertwined in many cases
Pt likely has kidney stones &/or CKD. All of these risk factors/comorbidities lead to these Dx, with primary symptom of hematuria.
If pt does not make changes, she can go into kidney failure, requiring dialysis, a kidney transplant, & eventually death
