- - - - Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.

    - - When the virus enters your body it binds to two cells in the lungs - goblet cells that produce mucus and cilia cells which have hairs on them and normally prevent your lungs filling up with debris and fluid such as virus and bacteria and particles of dust and pollen.
    - - The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air, and quickly fall on floors or surfaces.
    - - If you feel sick you should rest, drink plenty of fluid, and eat nutritious food. Stay in a separate room from other family members, and use a dedicated bathroom if possible. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
  - - - The immune system is the body’s multi-level defence network against potentially harmful bacteria, viruses and other organisms.
      - A healthy lifestyle helps one's immune system to be in the best shape possible to tackle pathogens, but it’s better to stop them entering the body in the first place.
      - Until a vaccine is available, our immune systems will need to adapt unaided to COVID-19.
