MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
INJECTION MOULDING: In this one the molten plastic is injected into a mould under great pressure. (The pressure is given by a plunger.)
-
This method is used to produce bins, boxes,...
This method is used to produce pipes, tubes,...
EXTRUSION: The plastic is introduced through a hopper, then the heater melts the plastic and makes it move. The plastic gets the shape of the die.
-
-
By this method you can produce bottles, containers,...
BLOW MOULDING: The plastic that comes from the extruder goes inside the mould. Then the plastic takes the shape of the moud when air at pressure is blown into.
IMMERSION MOULDING: In this process the mould is isintroduced in a bath of molten plastic. There the plastic sodifies when cooling and takes the shape of the mould.
-
This method is used to produce washing gloves, tool
handles, covers,...
-
This method is used to obtain sheets, plates,...
MANGLING: The molen lpastic coming from the extruder is obliged to move between a cylinder assemnbly. The cylinders are closer in each step. This tickness, diminishes and with increases.
-
By this method you can produce mattresses, cushions,
insulating materials, sponges,...
FOAMING: In this process the air or another gas is breathed into molten plastic. And the air stays inside the plastic when it cools down. The results of this process is a foam.
-
This method is used to obtain ice cube containers, egg
cartons,...
VACUUM FORMING: Here, the plastic plate is fixed to a frame and soften by heat. Then with the vacuum it adapts to the mould.
