What are adverbs?
An adverb is a word or an expression that modifies a verb, adjective, determiner, clause, preposition, or sentence.

Types of Adverbs
ADVERB OF TIME
An adverb of time provides more information about when
a verb takes place.
eg: I regularly go swimming OR I usually go out to the park
ADVERB OF FREQUENCY
Adverbs of frequency explain how often the verb occurs.
eg: I always get full marks on my tests OR I hardly ever go for a walk
ADVERB OF PLACE
Adverbs of place illustrate where the verb is happening. It’s usually placed after the main verb or object, or at the end
of the sentence.
eg: The dog is in the garden OR We went to Canada for our field trip
ADVERB of MANNER
Adverbs of manner provide more information about how a verb
is done.
eg: He swims well OR He ran quickly
