Self examination:
Tiny nodule, which doubled in size during the last two months before presentation.

Laboratory Tests
She undergoes fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), which is reported as positive for malignant cells.
CT scans of the chest and abdomen reveals no masses in the lungs, liver, adrenal glands, kidneys, spleen, or ovaries.
Her Serum Calcium is elevated and is 12.5mg/dL (normal range 8.4-10.2 mg/dL) with slightly low Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) levels. A bone scan is normal.

A final diagnosis of estrogen and progesterone receptor positive, HER2/neu (ERBB2) negative infiltrating duct carcinoma.

Ten months later, Miriam presents with complaints of headaches and blurred vision.
