Lear goes insane+ flees daughter's houses during a thunderstorm- ends up on the heath.
With his Fool and Kent- loyal nobleman in disguise.

Poisons her husband out of jealousy over Edmund; then kills herself when it's revealed to Albany.

Cornwall (husband).
Find Gloucester helping Lear, accuse him of treason, blind him, and turn him out to wander the countryside.
Led by disguised Edgar to Cornwall.
French army invades- led by Cornelia- attempt to save Gloucester.
Gloucester- tries to commit suicide.
Edgar saves him- tricks him into walking off an imaginary cliff
French army reaches Dover. English troops (led by Edmund) defeat them.
Lear+ Cordelia captured.
Edgar duells+ kills Edmund
