Our Relationship with the Climate
:
Avoid the excess of plastic bags and packaging. Always have a cloth bag to carry your shopping.
Consuming less is great for nature! Do not spend as much money on clothes and electronics as you will use. Think twice before buying something: is it really necessary?
)
By reusing materials that would be discarded for the landfill, you will be increasing the life of this material and also the place where it would be discarded. For example, a pot olives that turns a container into your kitchen.
Transforming materials already used in raw materials for others or the same product. We can make the separation of our waste for recycling encouraging this action. The beer or soda can is a classic example.
.
I will use social media platforms such as youtube and instagram to spread awareness regarding new and upcoming events that are focused at prevention of global warming
Over the years, the has been an outcry of support from people on climate change issues on important social platforms. There are many youth, community-led movements and efforts but these go unnoticed.
Developing a platform can help gather further support by invigorating more people to follow a green lifestyle. This comprises: using energy wisely, making your commute green, eating for a climate-stable planet.
Reducing the amount of energy used in the pumping of water reduces our carbon emissions, which contributes to greenhouse gases, and leads to climate change.
To prevent water pollution and wastage, I will: Turn off taps when not in use, invest in water-efficient goods, take shorter showers and conserve water whenever possible.
When toxic substances enter water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans and so on, getting dissolved in them, lying suspended in the water or depositing on the bed. This degrades the quality of water.
Water pollution is a major problem faced by the Earth.
These are only a few of the major concerns:
Nuclear Issues
Increased Carbon Footprint
Ozone Layer Depletion
Global Warming
Loss of Biodiversity
Genetic Modification
