Force
How to find weight
Unit of ...
Weight = N
mass = kg
a= m/s/s
W= FG
W= m(g)
How to find the net force
To find the net force you will add all forces in the same direction and then subtract forces on opposite direction to get the net force

The longer arrow = more N/ shorter arrow = Less N / slash = equal N so they cancel each other out
F and mass have a direct relationship
Force and acceleration have a direct relationship
Mass and Acceleration have an indirect relationshion

If acceleration is positive it is speeding up, if it is negative it is slowing down, if it is 0 it is staying constant
When doing this problem we first solved to find the weight of the person which is 607.6 N. When the parachute was on a time of 11 seconds we subtracted the weight from the air resistance of 1,035 to get -427.4. After, we set an equation of -427.4= 62 (a) so we divided and got an acceleration of -6.9 m/s/s
At 6 seconds, since the air resistance was equal to the weight the acceleration would be 0 because it cancelled out.
How to make a FBD
You draw all acting forces on the object at once
if the object is not moving up or down the FG = FW (force of water/ but if can be force of ground etc.)
F=ma+0
<----slope
we use slope to find the mass of the car
y=mx+b
Air resistance is negative when finding net force
Velocity
average velocity = vf+vi/2
displacement/ time
Inertia = the more mass the resistance is more
total forces applied on an object
