People, subject, and object pronoun.

We can leave out the relative pronouns when a defining relative clause contains a passive or continuous verb form.
Example:everyone who is living in the village suffers from insomnia. ( we can remove who is of the sentence and it is correct)

Identify a noun more clearly , they make it clear which thing or person we are talking about, they allow to write complex sentences.

Non defining: there are commas and it has extra information about the thing or person we are talking about that is not relevant.
