THE HOLOCAUST
The Holocaust occurred because to the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, the Jewish race was inferior and was an alien threat to the racial purity of Germans.
Over six million Jews and millions of others, targeted for racial, political, ideological and behavioral reasons, died in the Holocaust. More than one million of them were children.
