      - Why is the issue happen?
        
        The lack of technology facilities
        
        Problems to key-in the pupils' assessment record for reporting caused by slow Internet connection or full server issue
        
        Add on to the teachers' burden in teaching
        
        Preparation of the assessment tools and analysis of the assessment report need teachers to take extra time to do in order to perform classroom assessment.
        
        Teachers with the lack of skills and knowledge on implementation of HOT assessment may not be able to find suitable assessment tools to measure their pupils' HOT skills
        
        familiar with the traditional assessment method
        
        Not standard for every schools
        
        Each school uses a different assessment method for their pupils
        
        The level of assessment is not the same for two different schools in the same grade.
        
        Example: School Y uses easy questions for their pupils' assessment while the School X uses mostly a moderate question for their pupil's assessment. Given that both schools got the same grade from their assessment reporting, which school has better performer pupils?
        
        Answer: School X.

        The parents do not understand the implementation of the HOT assessment

      - How to solve this issue?
        
        Outline a standardised HOTS assessment is needed as:
        
        Guidelines for teachers to prepare the assessment tools
        
        References for parents to understand their child's reports
        
        set examples of HOTS questions
        
        Showcase the new teaching methodology that could be used in the TL activities to make the pupils familiar with the HOT skills and assessment
        
        Professional learning community
        
        Discussion among teachers is needed to enhance the implementation of the HOTS assessments
        
        Helps novice teachers on how to implement the HOT assessment
- - - - Why does this happen?
        
        Malaysian education depends on summative assessment such as SPM, PMR and UPSR to measure the pupils' level of achievement.
        
        The arrival of PISA assessment, the PPPM 2013-2025 requires the pupils to be assess holistically according to the National Education Philosphy.
        
        The summative assessment on test the pupils' understanding at their cognitive level (from what they learnt and write it down on the test. However, there's no assessment that measure the pupils' physical level or the skills that they learnt.
        
        The assessment that is implemented in Malaysian education does not accept the individual differences among the pupils. It does not really happen continuously in the classroom because the assessment is done after the ends of semester or ends of the year
      - How do we solve this issue?
        
        The introduction of school-based assessment (right now known as classroom assessment) into the education systems.
        
        PMR is changed to PT3
        
        Required the teachers to perform a school-based assessment in the classroom continuously to seek the pupils' learning achievement.
        
        The students are assessed holistically based on their presentation of knowledge and skills using different assessment method.
        
        Example:
        
        Oral presentation : English and Bahasa Malaysia Speaking Test.
        
        Project-based assessment : Kemahiran Hidup Bersepadu, Asas Sains Komputer
        
        Problem-solving assessment: Writing an problem-solving essay for History and Geography.
        
        SEGAK - assessment on the students' physical level
        
        Implementation of classroom assessment (Pentaksiran Bilik Darjah) at primary level
        
        Continuous assessment done in the classroom
        
        The teachers will include :
        
        Quiz
        
        Presentation
        
        Groupwork
        
        Self-assessment
        
        Focus more on the level 1 primary school pupils (Year 1, Year 2, Year 3) - Cancelling summative test for Level 1 pupils
        
        Problem will be on the Parents
        
        Hard to collaborate with the teachers because of the lack of exposure about the implementation of CA in their child's class
        
        Teacher will need to explain the CA to parents
        
        Some parents insist on examination because they are unable to see their child's learning achievement
        
        The teacher needs to do reporting of their pupils' assessment and showcase it in a simple and understandable matter.
        
        Advantages

    - - Why does this happen?
        
        Former Ministry of Education, Dr. Mazlee Malik mentioned that the learning of Jawi is compulsory in order to expand the students' learning
        
        How does it influence the education?
        
        Vernacular school:
        
        The students will feel burden as they have a lot of language to master. (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese/Tamil)
        -Teachers would need to learn the Jawi language.
        
        Protest from some parents as they are worried of their children's learning burden.
        
        Lack of trained teachers
        
        It will hard for teachers to teach the students without knowledge about Jawi.
        
        Training trained teacher for the Jawi subject takes at least 5 years.
        
        Sudden implementation is too rush-up
        
        Rearrangement of the teaching hours for each subjects in school
        
        However, the implementation is cancelled.
