Girl Up
Girl Up was a club that emphasised the importance of caring for others, particularly those in unfortunate situations who are unable to be as privileged as I am. The group aims to promote women rights in certain target counties by creating events for fund raising as well as raise public awareness of the manner in which women all around the world live their day to day lives. For this not only did the Girl Up members have to be engaged in the events but also neet to care for overall cause of the UN subsidarary.

I feel that. by being a member of the girl up group it empowered me to be able to make a change within the world we live in. It opened my perspective to create
Open Minded
Korean Culture Festival
IN my first year of the Diploma programme I attempted to step out of my comfort zone and volunteer as a work for the annual Korean Culture Festival in Stockholm. This was a completely new and scary experience for me as I had close to know prior knowledge of asian culture or folk games. However by keeping an open mind, I was able to learn Korean Customs and old folk games, to the be able to teacher others who attended the festival. This was definitely an experienced I enjoyed and would love to do it again since it taught me that by keeping an open mind, one can be able to be more knowledgable about the way people live all around the world, which is a skill that I am grateful for learning as it can help me learn a lot in the next few years.

Communicators
MUN
In MUN our main objective was to organise and hold our annual SIS MUN conference. This year we decided to expand our horizon by reaching out to many more schools, in hopes they would attend the conference. This lead to a lot of schools attempting to join, much more than anticipated. This required the MUN team to be able to communicate with one another in order to make a succusful conference. When trying to host such a conference communication is essential. This being said we would only realize this towards the final days leading to the conference, leaving a lot of loose ends needing to be tied. MUN specifically has taguht me how to communicate to a team as a leader in order to reach a goal as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Risk Taker
Basketball & Gym
Physical activities such as going to the gym and basketball always pose a risk to your physical well being. Particularly in the gym, in order to gain muscle and strength one needs to progressively overload. This means that you will constantly be increasing the weight at which you do exercises in order to develop further. However this means you need to always test your maximum capability. This could create numerous injuries. Since building strength is one of my cas goals, its the risk that I decided to take. Basketball, being a contact sport also creates opportunities to get injured.
