Is an NSAID structurally related 5 phenylbutazone which also has uricosuric properties
Dosage
1.8g for adults
1.2g for children
120mg IV

Patient that has History of peptic ulceration
Porophyria
Inflammatory bowel disease
Patients with blood disorders

Nausea
Vomiting
Drowsiness

Nursing considerations
Follow strict prescribed diet
Encourage the patient to drink water as more ofter
Advise the patient to quit smoking and consumption of alcohol
Indications
Relieve abdominal pains as wee as patients with ulcers
For acute infection with unknown causes
