Field markings

Biggest box: The long edges of the rectangular field edges are called the touchlines. If the ball passes over the touchlines, a player throws in the ball to put it back in play. The short edges of the rectangle are called the goal lines. Basically the whole outline of the field.
Around the Goal: The penalty box, a large rectangle, lies in front of each goal. Within each penalty box is a smaller rectangular box that extends 6 yards out from the goal line. This is the goal area, and a goalkeeper must place the ball somewhere within it to perform a goal kick.
The Center Circle: At the start of a game, one of the teams kicks off. Both teams must stay on their respective sides of the midfield line. The center circle, which has a radius of 10 yards, delineates the area that the team without the ball must not enter until a player first touches the ball.
Rules of the game:
-
-
Each half of the pitch must be a mirror image of the other half, including dimensions.
-
The referee needs to keep time and make decisions like goal, foul, hand etc

Violent tackles or things where you do not touch the ball and attack the player can lead in a yellow card, which is a warning, or a red card, which means you are ejected from the game.

Offside rule states that if the attacker is ahead of the last defender, it does not count as a goal (if they score) this is such so that players don’t hang around at the opposing goals waiting for the ball but instead be more included in the game. However in our tournament we will not be using this as of the variety in skill level
If the ball goes out of the white lines on the SIDES of the pitch (length) then the team who DID NOT touch the ball last gets to take a throw in. In a throw in one player will stand outside and overarm throw the ball in the field with both arms, their feet cannot lift of the ground.
If a team takes an attempt at the opposition goal and the ball goes behind to line which spreads from the two corner flags after touching the attacking team last, then it is a goal kick. The keeper (or any player) must place the ball on the line of the “D” and kick or pass it anywhere.
In the same scenario, except if the ball last touches the team whose side it is (defending team) then it will be a corner. One player from the attacking team will place the ball on the corner of the field and kick the ball in wherever they want.
