the nobles used there power in the government to take the powers from the pharaohs
over time the nobles gianed enough powers to challenge the pharaohs
for 160 years the nobles and pharaohs were still battling for king
the kingdom had no main ruler
Finally around 2050 BC a powerful ruler named Mentuhotep defeated his enemies.

after 50 years of fighting the Egyptians finally defeated them

in the proccess the pharaohs turned Egypt into a empire

despite its great success its milatary did not go unchallenged
Ramses's region was one of the longest egyptian hitsory
they fought the Hittites for years and never could defeate eachother so the both agreed and signed a peace treaty
Shortely after these invasion the new kingdom came to an end
egypt agian fell into disorder and violence and egypt never regianed its power
