Ashley- I think that he was scared and he didnt know what to expect. When he got on gallipolie he probably was shocked and had regret but he was trying to be brave.

Before landing on Gallipoli: "hmm wonder what war feels like." While landing on Gallipoli:"Well here we are!" Returning to New Zealand:"Well this sucks now I have no arm.Whatever I'll just get good with my left hand."-Cooper

I think his attitude hadn't changed cause he thought it was a duty to go and that he wanted to show everyone that he could lead a group of men. then when his arm had to be amputated he still stayed positive.- Agnes

Pedro - I thought he was exited before the Gallipoli campaign, as if he was going on a big adventure all over the world. He was dropped in and was proud to fight for his country, and after the war he now just reminisces on that day.

Pedro -I am sure it changed as he got older and wiser settled down had kids his perception on the war would have changed significantly since that day

l think that before the Gallipoli campaign he would have been scared and at the same time would have adrenaline pumping through his body. Coming home to New Zealand he would have been sad that he did not have a right arm anymore. He was still determined to serve his country. Lewis

I think that he sounds like he's is still determined to learn how to use his other hand. I think that his attitude to war did change in a positive way. Lewis

I think he must have felt sad, and scared, and very anxious before he went to war. While he was on gallipoli, he must have felt, Scared, and un-prepeared for everything that was in store for him. While returning to new zelaned, he must have felt, Mixed feelings. Maybe some happiness, that he was going back, or some sadness, for what he had experienced in war. I think he felt scared the whole time, and nervous.- Amber

I think he was a brave man, even though he might have been scared inside, he never showed it outside, and when he landed on Gallipoli he was ready to fight, when he landed back to New Zealand, he could've been a bit traumatized. - Tony

Aidan - he was a proud man, who wanted to go to war and was sad that he groaned when he was shot and had to be evacuated back to a hospital in Egypt to get his arm amputated.
I thing he would have been upset to be sent home to NZ and not be able to keep fighting for his country.

His attitude towards war must have changed because of the many men he saw losing their lives and that he lost his arm. I think that his attitude towards war changed in a negative way and made him not want to go to war again.

before landing he probably was happy that he was going to fight for his country. when he landed on Gallipoli he was probably even happier. when he lost his arm he could have been swearing. when he returned to new zealand he might have been relieved that he only lost 1 arm and angry that he only fought for 1 day

He must have felt proud that he is going to serve his country and fight for it. When he got to Gallipoli he must have felt scared like any human should. When he was returning to New Zealand he must have felt proud that he fought for his country and made it back. But also traumatized that he lost his arm.

I think before landing on Gallipoli, he was very scared not knowing what to expect and the fact that everyone might not even come back home. When he landed on Gallipoli I think he was very angry with the fact that he had just arrived and already he was injured. Returning at New Zealand I think he was happy to come but also relieved that he was alright and that he could accomplish lots with just one hand. Also annoyed cause he barely fought for his country.
