I think it was pretty important for the ideology to be portrayed in a certain way. I think they did purposefully try to shift away from associating with socialism which shows it’s quite important.
I think the economic policies were most successful however prices of necessities increased which made it so that even though real wages increased there was little effect on the poor. However, I think they were able to take credit for a bigger transformation in economy then the Natzi party had which gave them more credibility to many citizens.
In addition some other negative was the lack of balance between the needs of the citizens and goals of going to war (guns and butter). Hitler did not clearly understand the extent of the economy and thought it could produce more for war effort than it could putting a greater strain on its people.
Women and youth
Women lost their jobs , ability to get education, political power to stay at home and raise children instead. There was a strong push for women to become mothers. This caused birth control centers and abortion to be illegal. However, women who were not racially accepted were banned from that essentially having no choices.
Women however were given Income tax breaks if they were having children. They were later encouraged to go back to work and seek education which did give women more options but it was a confusing message.
They were successful in some aspects in indoctrinating youth into Natzi ideologies by influtrating youth groups and education to teach Natzi goals like their philosophies and war related things to boys and mothering things to girls to make their lifes follow that.
Church and minorities
There are two main reasons the Natzi’s persued getting rid of minorities: one they were a threat to the ideologies presented by the Natzi party or two they were people that Aryans already disliked and by taking action against these people the Natzi’s were able to form a strong bond between the majority of the population. In these were people who were Asocials that fell into the first category may have refused or didn’t work make the unemployment higher which made the party look worse or the disagreed with the party. The people in the second group were gypies, Jewish people, and people with mental and physical ailments. I think that the people who feel into the third category are also asocials like people who are alcoholics or just aryans who have these issues because it undermines the Natzi’s point of Aryans being the better race.
I think that the Natzi party was able to shift the church in such a way that Natzi ideologies were expressed more so but he was not able to get rid of the power of churches. He was able to create a new type of Christianity called German Christianity but was unable to get people to abandon their religion.
Consolidation of power
Hitler did not use entirely legal means to consolidate his power this includes the intimidation of voter including violence and elimination of political opponents. This does not mean he did not use some legal means to consolidate his power as well. It was a combination of both which got him to the place he is at.
At the beginning there was a great opposition of the Natzi group particularly because of how extreme they were. Even the biggest party and leader Hindenburg was not a fan of Hitler however he was able to get rid of smaller opponents with violence and have leverage over bigger opposers with a large backing by the public.
Ideology
I think the appeal to Natzism to a lot of people was that it address the problems of everyone. At a time when the government looked so weak and people lost trust in the institutions they believe in the Natzi party was a completely radical idea that claimed to have the answers about everything. This seems super enticing for people who have economic problems and social issues. While other parties were more clear on what they were planning to do, the Natzi party was a little more vague allowing it to be the answer for everyone’s problems not just one group.
I think the Natzi party was more backwards looking because Hitler and a large majority of people were still motivated by the results of world war 1. And in that, the Natzi goal was to become more militaristic so that they could avenge what happened during WW1. That is why there is a large majority of soldiers in the Natzi party. That is also why economic policies were to industrialize and become self-sufficient.

Culture, art, impact of Natzism
Culture and art were forms of Natzi propaganda used to convey certain messages. Things like anti Semitism and anti feminism were showcased in work. Pro Aryan beliefs were also showcased they were able to do this by being strict on what could and could not be shown on the radio , movie theaters, and in art. Lots of artists who were Jewish were banned. Although this was slightly detrimental to the art , th.e citizens did enjoy the art that was there.
