Definition
A disorder in which the retina separates
From the layer underneath
Pathophysiology
Due to aging, eye trauma
Retina tears and pulls the layer underneath
It breaks retina liquid
Viteous can enter the subretinal space
Between the sensory layer and retina
And the retinal pigment enithelium layer
