Healing of leg ulcers.
Neuroprotection after acute ischemic stroke.
Wound healing ( topical)
Decubiti healing agent.
Antipsychotics.
Nursing considerations
Assess must be done periodically during therapy.
Advise patient to take medication as directed and to notify:
Monitor mental status : orientation, mood, behavior.
Health care professional if unexpected side effects occur.
Wound dressing and cleaning must be done once or twice.
Contraindications / precautions
Not known.
Use cautiously in pregnancy and lactation.
Adverse effects
Vomiting
Abdominal discomfort
Nausea
Dosage and route
Topical: leg ulcers : apply cream containing 10mg glycine.
Sublingual:Acute ischemic stroke: adults: 1 to 2 g/ day
Orally:Schizophrenia: adults: 0.4 to 0.8 g in divided doses.
Storage
Store pouches in a dry place in a room temperature.
Temperature must be 25'C ( do not exceed temperature)
