Testes

Runs through penis and opens outside at external urethra orifice, accounts for 75% of urethral length
Penis
Copulatory organ, delivers sperm to female reproductive tract
Perineum
Suspends scrotum, contains root of penis, and anus
Female Anatomy
Ovaries
Produce ova, estrogens and progesterone
Uterine/Fallopian Tubes
Initial part of the female duct system, site of fertilization
Uterus
Hollow, thick-walled. Receives, retains, and nourishes fertilized ovum

Bulky middle layer, interlacing bundles of smooth muscle
Endometrium
Mucosa that lines the uterine cavity, where a fertilized embryo implants itself
Stratum Functionalis
Undergoes cyclic changes in response to blood levels of ovarian hormones, shed during menstruation
Vagina
Thin-walled tube extending from the cervix to the body exterior, female organ of copulation
Hymen
An incomplete partition formed by mucosa. Durability varies. Can be ruptured by sports, may need to be surgically breached
