Reduces accumulation of cAMP at beta2 adrenergic receptor.
Relatively for beta receptors.
Indication
Treatment of asthma and prevention of-
Bronchospasm in patient who are currently on treatment.
Maintain treatment to prevent bronchospasm in COPD -
Including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
Storage
15'C to 25'C away from light and moisture.
Contraindication s
Acute attack of asthma
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity
Adverse effects
Abdominal pain
Diarrhoea
Tachycardia
Nausea
Palpitations
Muscle cramps/soreness
Nervousness
Trembling
Headaches
Paradoxical bronchospasm.
Cough
Dosage and Route of administration
Adult and children over 4 yrs: 60mg ( one inhalation)-
Twice a daily approximately 12 hr apart
Route:Inhalation.
