PERFORATION
Pathophysiology
A perforated eardrum may be caused by loud
sounds.
A foreign object in the ear and head trauma
Also middle ear infections or rapid pressure changes.
Prevention
Wear ear plugs when around loud noises.
Do not stick objects into the ear canal.
