Evolution by natural selection
Is the change in the phenotype and genotype in organisms through generations
Genetic Variation
In populations of organisms, organisms have different traits,. New traits can appear over time, and sometimes mutation in the genes happens.
Sexual Selection
Its when the evolution of the species is not determined by what is best for the species, but what phenotypes look attractive to the females.

Overproduction

Struggle to survive
Differential Reproduction
Overproduction
More offsprings are produce than what the space and natural resources can handle.
Differential Reproduction
The organisms with better traits have more probability to survive and therefore to reproduce, passing on their traits to their offsprings. As the time passes, and the traits still benefit the population, more of the population is going to have those traits
Struggle to survive
These traits can be an advantage or a disadvantage to the organism, depending on their environment. The traits that make an individual situation is called adaptation.

This process is described by Charles Darwin as "descent with modification". It mainly states that al species come from a common ancestor.
Darwin described natural selection as "survival of the fittest", meaning that the ones who have better traits are going to have more descendants.
