increased urination
happens because the body is trying to get rid of excess sugar by sending it out through urine, along with water that bonds to the sugar.

increased appetite
The dog can be very hungry all the time because the body’s cells aren’t getting all the glucose they need, even though the dog is eating a normal amount.
Hepatomegaly
results from increased storage of glucose as glycogen in hepatocytes. Individual hepatocytes shown signs of hydropic change or 'cloudy swelling' as they accrue increasing amounts of glycogen.
TREATMENT
Diet
good-quality protein, as weel as a fiber and complex carbohydrates.
Exercise
avoid sudden spikes or drops in glucose level. to maintain moderate but consistent exercise routine.

AETIOLOGY
