wait for the arrival of the bride & her "entourage"
entourage generally arrives in elegant cars / in horse drawn coaches specially hired for the occasion
bride entourage consist of the bride, bride's father, all bridesmaids, maids of honour, sometimes flower girls and ringbearers
ushers/ groomsmen escort the mother of the groom&bride to their seats
ushers/groomsmen escort the grandparents of the bride& groom to their seats
the side of which people sit depends on
whether they are friends
family of the bride / groom
the very first seats reserved for the bridal party
bridal party will remain standing at the altar during the ceremony along the bride & groom
bridesmaid enter, escorted by the groomsmen
maid/matron of honour enters by herself or escorted by the best man
ringbearer/ page boy enters
ringbearer/ page boy carry the wedding rings on a cushion
flower girl enters, sometimes page boy will accompany the flower girl
bride proceeds down the aisle, escorted by her father, to the accompaniment of music (the wedding march called " here comes the bride"
