Cost for wearing course, binder course and road base
Min required density for 98% compaction = Density x Spec required (Mg/m3)
Volume for 20KM road (m3) = Length x Width x Thickness
Min quantity of weight of sample required (Mg or tonne) = Density (98%) x Volume (20KM)
Total Cost for 20KM (RM)= Weight (Mg or ton) x Cost per tonne (eg. RM150/ton)
Cost for Subbase
Min. required density (95% compaction (Mg/m3) = Density x Spec required
Volume for 20KM road (minimum) (m3) = Length x Width x Thickness
Price (RM/m3) = (min required density / 1.3) x Cost per m3 (eg. RM50/m3)
Total Cost (RM) = Volume (m3) x Price (RM/m3)
Total cost of minimum quantity of material (RM)
= wearing course + tack coat + binder course + prime coat + roadbase + subbase
Cost for tack coat & prime coat
Area (m2) = Length x Width
Total Litre (L) = Area (m2) x 0.25 (L/m2)
Total Drum (min quantity) = Total Litre (L) / 180 (L)
Total Price (RM) = Total Drum x Cost (eg. RM150)
