Plate Boundaries
Constructive
Conservative
Destructive
They happen when two plates collide and rub creating a earthquake and can create a volcano if one of the plate slides under the other.
They happen when the two plates come apart and create a mountain or volcano.
This is when two plates rub against each other and can create any level of earthquake.

Why people live near volcanoes
people live near volcanoes because there is a good sorce of energy from the heat. Geothermal energy is a very realiable energy source and if people can harness it for a low price then they do and that is why people live there.
Earthquakes happen due to conservative plate boundaries as they rub against each other without one slipping under each other.
Prepare
Protect
Predict
Predicting when a Hazard will happen. This is the first line of defence andf if they can identify when there will be a disaster than they can prepare.
Preparing is key to low casualty rates as many would be evacuated and limit the amount of damage.
Protecting helps try to keep as many resources as possible with making structures and defences for the disaster.
