Trench Warfare
Trenches were the solider spent most of their time protecting themsleves. I12 feet deep mile long pits to fight the other side facing one other
The conditions were very unhealthy with a lot of vermin. Causing illness Trench Fever. Solider were also susceptible to Shell Shock

Shell Shock
Shell Shock is a type of PTSD from the clashing and exploding of metal and weapons, very hard to treat at the time

Treaty of Versailles
This treaty was created at the Paris Peace Conference on January 18, 1919 to end WW1. It was between the allied powers and Germany although Germany did not have a say on the terms of the treaty
German leader Adolf Hitler believed that the Weimar Republic signing the treaty humiliated the German people. He wanted to rebel the treaty to unify the German citizens and show strength over allied powers
Demilitarization
Germany's army was restricted to 100,000 and not allowed to use tanks or poisionous gas
Germany's air force was eliminated and Navy limited to 6 ships only, without subs
Land Ownership

Rhineland remain in German possession but became demilitarized where as Alsace-Lorraine was given back to France
