In 1754 wars between the French and the British had started happening and that kept changing the status of Canada
The original inhibitors the Acadians, had to pledge an allegiance to the British whenever they won the wars
Then in 1755, the Acadians had enough and refused to pledge there allegiance to the British crown. Instead they said that they would be neutral. The British did not like this and they deported, split up families and seized property.

When the British and French arrived, First Nations helped them by guiding them and giving the medicine
Soon after the French and British arrived, there was competition for resources which lead to fighting and genocide
First nations were coercion-ed to singing a treaty, they gave up land and Canada has to pay them money
