        Hypothesis- those given the word 'smashed into vehicle' would confirm there was broken glass when asked a week later even though there was'nt.
        
        Findings showed that verb did influence response to a certain degree, however evidence showed that participants memories were accurate despite the misleading question

        However demand characterisics might appear in police interviews.

        Phase 2- given false suggestion that they were sick after egg sald when they were younger- afterwards were provided with sandwiches. One of the selections was egg sandwich
