Ambient Jam feasibility 2
New collaborations: Conversation with Lucy's mum Gill Manvill. Gill is happy to help and we can ring her whenever we need to in order to collaborate and receive feedback.

The bespoke letters reminded Gill of Home school liaison in SEND schools which aimed to create a bridge between the two environments in our case - home and Entelechy.
These school diaries shared something between home and school through symbols, pictures, sound and text in diary form about something that was meaningful for that child each day.
It was great to receive exercises from her teachers, and physiotherapists they as family could implement at home. So wondering if we can design a series of creative tool kit for Lucy based on her work with us via simple working score cards for her family. Its a way of sharing the activities she has been following outside.
Lizzie, Lucy's younger sister (who uses a wheelchair too) is a teacher in an SEN school. She might also like to get involved with Ambient Jam and Lucy. She has been using zoom with her students who have low support needs and autism. For many its been tricky, - to genuinely mean something, but a few have engaged with it really well and zoom for an hour each day. This consecutive day approach seems to work.
When the liaison between school stopped family's felt disengaged - it's good to be able to share with the activities Lucy has been following outside.
Lucy's particular likes
watching others spinning. She like to see other people turning. To see the front and back of people - the whole object, because things aren't what they seem.
Trampoline and being flung about everywhere by her dad
Eating any object, everyday objects such as glasses, books, telephones. Even better if they are strawberry flavoured.
Lucy hears sound really well with her hearing aids in and she will like the sonic letters we sent or composed music fragments
probably best to laminate any sensory memory box - it will last longer.

I mentioned that Lucy responded to mirroring - us mirroring her in the last AJ when we weren't allowed to touch her
Gill felt our zoom improvisation idea would evolve gradually through us testing its limits, through trial and error, and through programming in consecutive sessions that started small and gradually folded in others.
Gill felt Lucy would respond well if everyone had their turn on zoom...with the rest of us following.

Chance to work in more detail, bespoke and small clusters
-Chance to return to the detailed encounters we used to do over a decade ago.
Christine like recepies, chatting, food, taste: Food poetry? Maybe audio recording to go with with food tastes. She recognises our voices and our names.
Lucy like's seeing herself
Little one to one or small clusters of 3 improvisation via zoom, for face recognition.
Can people draw live in a jam, like Ertac does, so their window is drawing responses to the jam?
These one to one clusters like with Bobby or John is like the weekly jam anyway where we are together yet in different bespoke small clusters.
LITTLE HELLO'S: A way to call these sonic letters, video fragments with us and a photo of them in them.
Josephine loves the sounds in themselves and the material - create a package for her care home. Add objectives and a structure.

Weave Gill's voice into a sonic letter - little pieces of composing.
Collate all sounds we already have of members form video's and voice recordings so we can compose them into the little sonic letters.
I have healing bells and could create a healing sound fragment.
Vibration and sound
For the zoom improvisation we could create a pre-recording. Merlin or Charles sends me a recording, I add something to that.
We also have Kit, Spenser (volunteer) and Rachel as other musicians.

What might a zoom improvisation working score entail
structured around three pieces of prerecorded music in mind, that marks the beginning, middle and end, then free- form inbetween.
starting with Lizzie's healing bells for 5 mins and stillness and stirring (like we normally do at the start of a jam.
