Topic 6: Group activities and meeting individual differences
Introduction
Group activity means as the activity is conducted by the organized body of people.
Individual differences in group refer to the enduring characteristics that distinguish one characteristic from another and that are stable over time and across situations.
Creative teaching
Make the teaching to be interesting by creating group activities from the simplest to more complex.
The teacher must plan and adjust the activities to suit his students and the time allocated by school.
Before that,
The teacher should build rapport with the students.
When the students are mentally suit this kind of teaching, the teacher can attempt to provide the group task.
Establish relations with students:
Talk with students.
Include games, simulation, and visits.
Evaluation at the end of activities.
Once the ice is broken, it's easier to think the way and means to encourage interactions.
Language games
Traditional games are considered ineffective and equip students with the basics of language, but do not provide the opportunity for the learners to interact with one another.
Communicative language games are the games that the students encouraged to interact with one another and solve problem or complete a task together.

Steps of brainstorming
The teacher writes the topics on the board and call for ideas from the class. Teacher is not to question and evaluate the students.
The class is allowed to seek for clarification, but not to delete the items on master list.
From this new list, each person makes his own list of ideas.
The students then rank these ideas in order of importance.
The whole class then votes on the ideas in order of importance from rank 1 to 5.
Ideas receiving the most points are then discussed in full.

This is because each student comes from different family background and causes some miscommunication issues.
Culture/intellectual level of children's parents
This is also because the parents are as the role model of the children and they will imitate the parents' action without hestitation.
