        1 mole occupies 24dm^3 so 0.25 x 24 = 6 answer: 6dm^3

        Mr of CO2: 12 + (16x2) =44 44g = 1 mole 22g = 0.5 mole so 0.5 x 24dm^3 = 12dm^3
