PM + Common Pathology
1. Confirm death (5 finger: no rhythmic breathing, flaccid tongue, no jaw tone, pupil fixed and dilated, no corneal reflex, no heart beat- palm)
- Look at outside of pig: skin Dx, trauma etc
- Cut and reflect under armpit
- Cut and reflect hindlimb (examine joint: arthritis)

- Cut into abdomen (peritoneal exudate, swab/sample)
7. Open Chest cavity (knife between soft cartilage in ribcage, cut m. between ribs and break apart)
- Display Stage:
see lots of organs.
Position, colour, extra fluid, collect pleural/ pericardial exudate.
