EVOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT
Thanks to the Glorious Revolution the power of the monarchy had been limited in favour of the Parliament: this led to the development of a Constitutional Monarchy.
Two-party political system: Tory (outlaws) and Wighs ("Cattle raiders) which held a majority for about 60 years.
The Whighs used to meet without the King, so the ministers assisted the meeting. At firts they were all equal, but later some ministers started to led others. This is how the Prime Minister was born.

SLAVE TRADE
Britain was the leader of the Triangular Trade
(between America, Africa and Britain).
British ships carried cotton cloth, arms used to buy slaves in Africa, who were sold in America in change of tobacco, cotton, coffee.
