What is meaning of cultural homogenisation?
Cultural homogenisation is the process by which local cultures to become more and more similar to aspects of foreign cultures.
What cultural homogenisation can lead to ?
It can lead to some foreign cultural influences becoming dominant, thus reducing the influence of local cultures
This leads to sharing, appreciation and acceptance of other culture.
How does globalisation leads to cultural homogenisation?
It because the interconnections between ideas and activities of people in different parts of the world facilitate cultural exchanges which reduce cultural diversity across and within countries as they cause some foreign cultures to become more dominant, thus reducing the influence of local cultures.
