flow, is a state in which people are so involved in a activity that nothing else matters, self consciousness disappears and the sense of time gets distorted, and an intense concentration, there is no attention to problems or nothing else
to reach a flow state you have to choose something that is not very challenging (or it will give you anxiety), and that requires a lot of skill (if the thing you are trying to do require low skill is boring), once you balance these two things you reach a flow state.
