When determining Net force, Ffrict must also be considered
It is calculated the same way it is on flat surfaces, by taking the normal force and multiplying it by the coefficient of friction.
determining the Net Force is a bit difficult since the forces aren’t going in two opposite directions
To solve, one or more forces will have to be split into perpendicular components to be added to the other forces acting upon the object.
For inclined planes, gravity is split into two perpendicular components, one parallel and one perpendicular to the inclined surface.

The parallel component of gravity isn’t balanced by any other forces, thus the object accelerates down the plane by the lack of balanced forces.

Perpendicular force is directed the opposite direction of the normal force, thus balancing the normal force
In the absence of friction on inclined forces, the equation to find acceleration is Fparallel/m, or a=g*sinθ

Types of Force
Tension Force (Ftens): Force transmitted through a rope/wire/cable ect. When it is pulled tight by forces on opposite ends, pulls equally on both objects

Air Resistance Force (Fair): Acts upon obj. As they travel through the air, often opposed to the motion of an obj.

Mass: the amount of matter that is contained by the obj., it is the same wherever the object is in the universe
Normal Force (Fnorm): The support force exerted on an object in contact with another stable object. (What keeps gravity in equilibrium on an object on a stable object.)
Weight: the force of gravity acting upon the obj., differs based on how much force a planet exerts on you (g), how much force is exerted on that stuff
Gravity Force (Weight)(Fgrav): The weight of an object, all objects on earth experience a downward force of gravity
Force of gravity on Earth is always equal to the weight of the object as found by the equation: Fgrav=m*g, where m=mass (in kg) and g=9.8 N/kg (ON EARTH!!)
