If medications are to be administered, they must be in liquid form or crushed/dissolved
Liquid food/formula will have to be provided in the feeding tube for him to get the nutrients he needs
Must be a mixture of carbs, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals
This is because he is not able to digest his food properly and nutrients are not able to be absorbed. The esophagus, stomach, and duodenum all help with digesting food and absorbing the nutrients from that food, but with the tube, they are all being bypassed.
