Historically, Pesantren is the Indonesian indigenous educational system. It doesn't represent the Islamic religion. ( bilik bilik pesantren, Nurcholis h madjid, 1997)
Pesantren has proven successful in educating students and creating high-quality scholars and religious leaders ( N. Abdurahman, 2016)
Modern civilization due to IT advancement lead to bear moral crisis, injustice, global poverty, and social conflict (Nur Hidayat 2016)
