Personal, local, and Global connections
Local: There are education cuts happening right now that limit the teachers but expand the classes, this is harmful to the children and their education because then the teachers will not be able to help everyone. Additionally, for some schools like branksome that are using online classes, some families may not have enough devices for their children to have classes with.
Global: I know that in this pandemic people are doing online school, but in some third world countries that are less fortunate do not have access to technology. This means it will not let them do online school. This is now a struggle because they may not have resources to do online school, or their schools may not offer online school. There are also many children globally who live very far from schools and cannot reach the closest school safely. Globally, there are wars going on and children in these war zones are not able to go to school.
Personal : This is important to us because we go to a school that has very good education. We are very privileged, and since many other children are not as privileged, we should have a voice for the children that don't have one. Over 260 million children do not go to school and since we are so lucky to be able to go to school, we should use our knowledge to help others.
