Production Design is used to affect the view of feelings. The purpose is to use visual elements to provide the audience with a reality in the film.
Character: Elements in a scene can be used to show what kind of person a character is. For example, a room full of band poster can suggest a character's interests or personality.
Themes: Elements in a scene can often communicate to the audience of the story and its deeper meaning by using elements in script that contain subtexts.
Mood: The elements in a scene such as colors or the way things are set up can reflect different feelings and emotions.

Handheld: To move the camera as moving through space, creating a shaky feeling.
Rack focus: To start an image blurry and shift focus to a particular thing to bring to audience's attention.
-
Dolly Zoom: To move the camera forward and zoom out at the same time. (The subject focused would be the same size)
