Pharmacist
After the GP has prescribed them, Joyce will get her medication from her pharmacist.
Occupational therapist
They help sufferers with activities such as, going to work, carrying on with a hobby, or basic tasks such as eating, bathing or getting dressed.
Joyce's daughters
They are there for support. They will be there for a chat to prevent her from feeling lonely, they will transport her to anywhere she needs to go, shop for her and clean her house to take the pressure away from her.
Continence adviser
They will offer her advice on her bladder and bowel problems, as well as information about products, drugs or exercises that may help you.
Counsellor
Counsellors will help her to deal with emotional problems, depression and changes in mood.
Dietitian
They will help Joyce with nutrition and eating habits. They will also help her if she starts to find it difficult to swallow.
neurologist
They are responsible for diagnosing MS, prescribing any disease modifying therapies and making referrals to other services.
physiotherapist
Physiotherapists use exercises and movement of the body to help the patient to move around better, feel less fatigue or pain, deal with muscle stiffness and spasms or improve balance.
