he was assasinaited on 4 april , 1968 when he was in the town of Mempis, Tennenssee. he was only 39. he is buried at the king in Atlanta, Georgia.je was shot. A men named James Earl Ray was convicted on the murter, but is is still uncertain whether he was the actual killed.
his death created a stronger desire to continue with the civil rights movement. since 1986 king'birthday has been a nation holiday in the USA, celebrated on the third monday in january. he was a man with a vision, a man with hope, a men with dream
