Coating
Tack Coat

Carried out during dry warm weather
Bitumen emulsion, sprayed onto bituminous layer with rate of
0.5-1 liter/m^2
Prime Coat
Spread on the roadbase at rate of
0.5-1 liter/m^2
Material used is
MC-70 (50-70 degree Celsius)
or
SS-1K ( 25 degree Celcius - 45 degree Celcius)
Cured for
24 hrs
Shoulder
Tickness of the layer should based on
drawing
,

compacted

Level of the shoulder should be

&
flushed
and water should
drain
toward the side drain
