- Aim to achieve and maintain
a healthy BMI

- Eat sufficient amount of grains, especially whole grains food.

- Eat enough fruits and vegetables

- Choose and prepare food with less fats,especially saturated fats

- Choose and prepare food with less salt and sauces
Too much salt can lead to heart failure,strokes,stomach cancer and kidney diseases

To prevent irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, stroke and heart attacks.

Reinforce the importance of good eating habits in a child by encouraging him or her to eat healthy food.
Encourage the child to perform at least 60 minutes of moderate - intensity physical activity for five or more days in a week.
