    - - Schlieffen Plan, Battle of Somme, Battle of Verdun were very important battles that gave the Allies to turn to give Germany the L. Basically all these were 3 big fights that Germany tried to do and France won 2 of them while the battle of Somme was a brutal battle with everyone losing
        
        An armistice is when 2 sides agree to stop fighting for a little while maybe a few years or so but it's like hey we're kinda losing and your kinda losing we should stop for a bit. k?
    - - The Triple Alliance was an agreement between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy.
      - Zimmerman Telegram and Germany announcing intention to resume unrestricted submarine warfare with the US and the US gets mad.
        
        The US decides to help the Triple Entente because Germany talks too much.
        
        This slowly causes a defeat for Germany because now there is too much support from the US and it's military that it becomes a serious issue. (Also this helps ends the war in the Allies favor.)
        
        Russia leaves the war in around 1917 because of riots and with Lenin doing a treaty of Brest-Litvosk with Germany they leave the war.
        
        Russia gets a big revolution because of all the riots and eventually a new government gets thrown into Russia.

        Gavrilo Princip is who caused the Assassination of Archduke Franz and killed him due to nationlism which means because the people where fed up with being under control and wanted to be independent. This was the thing that caused a lot of fights and alliances which started ww1.
    - - Nationalism is what people believe in their country and fight for this pride they have in their country
- - - - The League of Nations was created in 1919 to talk about global security, settle disputes, and prevent wars.
        
        A few that joined them were Great Britain, France, Japan, and Italy.
        
        Most most notably America didn't join and that was mostly the civilian causalities.
        
        Treaty of Versailles were mainly created by Woodrow Wilson, Georges Clemenceau, and David Lloyd George.

      - The Fourteen Points was about trying to get peace and stop the war from continuing. It was by Wilson Wilson's 14 Points and it was designed to undermine the Central Powers' will and would help the Allies win. Some of the points include (look right)
        
        Self determination is how a country runs itself and forms its alliances and how its government will be ran. Some countries didn't like this due to wanting to be themselves since it also includes joining up with other people with similar ideas. (NATIONLISM)
