Key dimensions of cultural diversity
- Power distance

All societies are unequal, but some are more unequal than others (Hofstede, 2011)
has been defined as the extent to which the less powerful members of organizations (Hosfstede, 2011)
- Indulgence versus restraint
Indulgence stands for a society that allows relatively free gratification of basic and natural human drives related to enjoying life and having fun (Hofestede, 2011)
Restraint stands for a society that suppresses gratification of needs and regulates it by means of strict social norms (Hofestede, 2011)
- Uncertainty avoidance

indicates to what extent a culture programs its members to feel either
uncomfortable or comfortable (Hofstedes, 2011)

- Individualism versus Collectivism
Individualism on the one side versus its opposite (Hosfstedes, 2011)
Collectivism is societal, is the degree to which people in a society are integrated into groups or teams.
Long term versus short term orientation
Short term: Reciprocating social obligations. results and achievements are set, and can be reached within time frame.
Long term: Values found at this pole are perseverance, thrift and having sense of shame.

4.Masculinity versus femininity
Masculinity versus femininity refers to the distribution of values between the genders which is another fundamental issue for any society.

This is a view of a specific community, but in other communities duties are the same.
