- Set up workspace by organising the bunsen burner equiptment and order chemicals and unknowns orderly.
- Check for conduction of electricity by using the conductivity meter + kit.
- Record results and repeat for all five substances.
- Test for volatility in a polar substance (water) and a non-polar liquid (hexane)
- Record results and repeat for all five substances.
- Conduct a flame test and record observations.
- Conduct a solubility test in water (H2O) and record observations.
